My personal philosophy as a photographer
At the very moment you recognize that your fellow human beings differ from you only in their outer appearance, their thoughts and their outlook on life, something essential happens.
If a photo enables you to recognize yourself in the portrayed person, if it lets you feel that joy, pain, grief and all those other inner movements which fundamentally determine human being and existence take place in each and everyone of us in the same way, then this photo has fulfilled what I personally attribute to a photo as its main task: it has touched the viewer and at the same time changed his way of being and through that also changed the world.
The power that separates you from the people around you
has lost a bit of its strength.
